I was honored to call you Dad for many years.  You welcomed me into the family  with opened arms, and loved me as I loved you too. I have memories that will always stay with me....you guys came up for Shannon & Justin's graduation, again back up for Christmas, and my favorite is my surprise visit to Fresno.  :)   I know you are laughing down on that one !  You were a wonderful, warm man & I know you are with God.  I love you so much and you will be missed.  Rest in peace dear.

Dad they say you can't pick your family. Thank God that's not true.

Dad I was only a senior in high school when your daughter brought me to the house. That was 30 years ago. I have so many memories that I treasure. Some people collect things .Stamps ,coins, things of value. You dad collected family and friends. And that made you the richest man I have ever known. Thank you for always making me feel so welcomed and loved for always. Love you dad.

John, you changed my life in so many ways. You made me want to be a better person, a better parent, and I use you as a model for how to be a good grandparent. Shannon and Samantha had the best childhood because of you and Judy. We miss you and look forward to seeing you again. We will love you forever.

May this light help guide you in your journey.  I love you and miss you so much!!

John,having a friend like you is an amazing and wondeful experience. So many memories to remember and laugh about . Remembering you and Wes bantering back and forth brings a smile to our faces. Grandpa you will be missed. Its very hard to say good bye, but you will always be loved by all of us. I love you forever.

I am so Glad I had the privilege  to know you. I always Looked forward to the family functions  to get to talk to you. The get togethers will be different now. You were like a great grandpa to my grandchildren. You will be greatly missed.

From the first time I met John, I was always amazed at what a wonderful upbeat attitude he had.  He always had kind and positive words to everyone.  Often we were invited to spend holidays with him and his family.  The first Thanksgiving I managed to lose my balance as I was sitting down at the table and sat down on the coffee table going right through the glass top!!  John never let me live that down!  It was good for lots of jokes from him.  He was a man with a joyful heart that loved his family and he will greatly missed. May God Be near all of you and comfort your breaking hearts as you mourn your loss.  I believe his eyes and body are healed and what a joy for him to see Jesus face to face.

Having had the privilege of being in John's extended family, we will miss visiting with him at family functions. He was always a joy to talk to, and had the hearts of all the ladies in the family. We miss you already, just sad.

Stacy and family-my thoughts and prayers are with you as you get through this heartbreaking time.

Hello Handsome!... I will miss you so much and can't wait for the day I will see you again.  We will miss your jokes, the support you gave to each and every one of us, and more than anything our Sunday Calls!

The first time I met John, I fell in love with him. He was awesome, easy to talk to and always made me smile. I will be praying for everyone that God wraps his loving arms around you and keeps you comforted in your hearts while giving John his wings. Until we meet again John, I will be looking for you at Heavens table when I get my wings.

Daddy I miss you so much already. I could have not asked for a better father or husband for my mother.  You always put others first and took care of all of us.  You have not only your own children but so many others that are proud to call you dad! You are an incredible man and have inspired me my whole life to be the best person I can I hope I made you as proud of me as I am of you! Rest now daddy and I know you will be watching from heaven.
