

Johnny was born to Kathleen and William Hopkins on October 4, 1977. He graduated from Bullard High School in 1996 and went on to graduate from California State University Fresno.
Johnny was admired by all who knew him for his love of life, family and the outdoors. His love for his two sons Hunter and Max was unmatched.
Johnny will be missed by all those whose path he crossed and had the opportunity to know and love him.
Johnny's legacy of an incredible work ethic, dedication, passion, generosity and love of others was one to be modeled. Those who knew Johnny will ensure that these traits will live on in his boys.
The family would like to extend its thanks to the host of friends, neighbors, and Johnny's coworkers who have supported them these past days.
He leaves behind the love of his life and wife of seven years, Jamie; beloved sons, Hunter and Max; devoted parents, Kit and Bill; brother, Patrick; sister, Annie Chaney and her husband Riley; his sister, Molly; grandmother, Carolyn Peck; also dear to Johnny's heart are his father and mother-in-law Marty and Pam Norris; brother-in-law, Jeremy Norris and his wife Jill; and an endless amount of cousins, nieces and nephews.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 7:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Johnny's favorite charities, Samaritan's Purse at samaritanspurse.org and Wounded Warrior Project at woundedwarriorproject.org.
