He graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1953 and served in the U.S. Navy aboard a destroyer as a Radarman.
He was an Area Sales Manager for Best Foods for 37 years retiring in 1995.
He is preceeded by his parents, John and Jean Riden; his sisters, Dolores Crackel and Juanita Ressler; and his brother-in-law, Harvey Hart.
Bill is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carol Hart Riden; his son, John Riden, III; granddaughter, Samantha Riden; sister, La Veta Fuller; and brothers-in-law, Donald Fuller, James Crackel and Raymond Ressler; and sister-in-law, Barbara Hart. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and many more family members.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Saturday, May 21, 2011, at 1:00 p.m.
A private interment will be held at Belmont Memorial Park at a later date.
Remembrances may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
