Jose Joaquin Zabal, age 76, of Fresno, California passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021. Jose was born November 23, 1944 in Pamplona, Navarre, Spain.

Jose is survived by his spouse, Berta Zabal; son Jose Zabal; daughter Isabel Barandalla (Daniel); and daughter Edurne Zabal (Jesus Triana); brother Fermin Zabal, brother Javier Zabal, brother Juan Zabal, sister Rosario Zabal, sister Teresa Zabal and sister Benita Zabal.

Jose is also survived by 8 grandchildren who will cherish his memory.

A mass of christian burial for Jose will be held Friday, February 5, 2021 at 10:00 AM at St. Jude Catholic Church, 208 W Jefferson Ave, Fresno, California 93706. A committal service will occur Friday, February 5, 2021 at 10:45 AM at Fresno Memorial Gardens, 175 South Cornelia Ave, Fresno, California 93706. A cremation will occur.
