Joseph grew up on Fresno’s West Side and graduated from Edison High School in 1941. Joseph served in the U.S. Air Force during WW2 and one year in the Korean War. He was stationed at numerous air bases around the country. Joey as he was often called, married his sweetheart Eleanor Ramer and lived happily ever after for 72 years.
Joey was a loving and concerned father of Tim and Diane. He was a caring and supportive grandfather to Jeanne and Michael and great grandfather to Auvney.
Joe is survived by his wife Eleanor, daughter Diane and husband Dr. Morten Johnson, granddaughter Jeanne and husband Bobby Pentorali, great granddaughter Auvney, grandson Michael and wife Amy Johnson.
Joe will always be unforgettable in every way.
Memorial Mass will be at Our Lady of Victory Church on Monday, July 6, 2015, at 11:00 a.m.
