Joe L. Pulido passed away on April 9, 2012 at the VA Hospital in Fresno. He was born in Lemoore, Ca. on February 3, 1920 to Jose Maria and Jesus Lopez Pulido. He was the fifth child in what would become a family of 11 children.
In 1939 he married Camerina Hernandez and they had four children.
He is survived by his daughter, Gloria P. Ramirez; sons, Joseph H. "Joey", Frank H. and Rudy H. Pulido; two sisters, Connie Rueda and Lucy Arce; 16 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and four great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Thursday, April 12, 2012 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Shrine of St. Therese Catholic Church on Friday, April 13, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
