Karlene Ann Guernsey was born on March 5, 1936 in Lansing, Michigan to Carl and Catherine Guernsey. She loved growing up and her time in Michigan, but ended up in California later in life. In 1979, she started KGN Graphics and worked in the graphic and publishing industry for over 20 years. Throughout the years, she enjoyed dancing to Big Band music, remained a devout NASCAR fan, played word and puzzle games, and always enjoyed a good cup of coffee.
In her later years, she enjoyed acting as the librarian at the Claremont Senior Apartments where she was the resident technology guru. On June 12, 2021, Karlene passed away peacefully at the age of 85.
Karlene is survived by her daughter Joyce Noverr (David Filman), daughter Katherine Noverr (Raymond Davidson), sister Suzanne Bengry (Jerry Bengry), seven grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. Karlene was preceded in death by her husband James Joseph Noverr, daughter Michelle Noverr, and son Steven Noverr.
