Dearest Kathy. Miss our casino ventures , then blowing  our winnings at Costco. So many adventures. Think of you often, dear friend.   Rest with angels.

Kathy, was dearly loved by so many.  She was always my light and happiness with her positivity as her principal and friend. Even now, I am saddened by her passing and I was blessed to have her as a friend and one of the best teachers at Turner.

My sincere love to the family of “Kathy”.  Coached her and Roger daughter Jenny at Heaton elementary. Later came to know her as a fellow catechist at Saint Therese. We had a good group of Catholics, Eileen, Kathy, Barbara, Lolly, Manuel, Lucy, Ed, and others which taught CCD. I was truly sorry to heard that see had past on. She was a wonderful person and will be missed.

Met Kathy when I coached Under 8 soccer. Jennie her daughter was playing on team. Later while teaching CCD at St Therese with a group of us, Manuel, Lucy, Lolly, Barbara, And Eileen taught For various years CCD. Kathy will be missed. In God’s love, Rest In Peace.

I was so sad to hear that Kathy passed. I have known her many years but live in North Carolina now so didn't see her much. I was able to spend time with her in 2018 when I visited California.  Kathy always made me laugh. I am sorry for your loss. 

My grandmother was an amazing person who knew how to cheer someone up. She could go on and on about how wonderful you look that day with ease. Grandma loved to play games, make crafts and so much more. She taught me to have faith in others and to be kind to all people. Bottom line is, I can’t express how much my family and I loved her. I will miss the sleepovers and baking championships. I truly miss her so much.

I loved my grandma so much and she was so loving and caring to lots of people. She was the best grandma I could have ever wished for and I wish I could tell her that. I want her to know I miss her so much, but she is probably reading this in heaven with her family.

My grandma taught me many things..like how to tie my shoes. She also loved to read and taught me how to read. We used to bake together and I was really sad when I found out she passed. I believe she is in a better place and is watching over us all.

Mom was the most compassionate and caring person I’ve ever met.  She loved my sister and I unconditionally and always told us how proud she was of us. My friends and anyone who met my mom, immediately loved her. She had a way of making you feel welcome and loved. Mom did that for all of us and for the many students she taught throughout her 25 years in Fresno Unified. My mom made a difference in so many lives and inspired me to become a teacher.  I was very close to my Mom and when I had my first daughter, I gave her my mother’s beautiful name (Kathryn) to honor her and thank her for the amazing life she had given me.   Losing her was like losing a piece of myself but I know she is in heaven watching over us all now.

Beloved Kathy was blessed with a loving and generous heart.  Her faith in her Church was unbreakable. Every Sunday she’d sit in her pew and I know her thoughts were of her beloved husband, daughters and family and  her friends.  She wanted them to be protected and watched over by angels.  Her wish came true and now we all will be watched over by our dearest Kathy in Heaven.   We were friends for over 30 years and supported each other thru many challenges. It was the  three of us.Kathy, Barb and me.  Thank you Lord for putting her in my life to show me what true kindness is.



Kathy was a classmate @ Porterville Union High School Class of 1968.  She was always a sweet and lovely girl who made many contributions to our class.  RIP and sincere condolences to friends and family.

Always looked forward to going to have fun with Kathy & Richard in Porterville. Kathy loved family and was so generous and caring to all of us. She lived her faith every day. This  is Grandpa Arch, Grandma Laura, mom Laura waving in the back and Kathy 58 years ago. 

My grandma was one of the brightest people I knew. And she always will be. I remember playing games all summer and those fun sleepovers me and my cousins had with her. She has truly been an inspiration and I strive to be just like her. I love you grandma and someday I’ll be able  to see you again. 

Such a happy and vibrant woman in each memory I have of her. My thoughts and prayers are with the Houghton family and extended families.

She was the best teacher my son Guadalupe had in 6th grade.
My son's were blessed to have her a catechism teacher.

My  thoughts and prayers are with Kathy's family.  I was blessed to work with her at Turner Elementary.  I will always remember her for the love she had for all her students and her bubbly personality. She will be missed  by all who shared so many happy times, both at work and special occasions. She touched many lives.

I loved Kathy and will miss her so much.  She was such a fun,  positive, and caring person. Playing Mexican Train with our group of friends was always an adventure when Kathy played! I admired her spirit and determination to never give up.  May God's  grace give peace and comfort to her beautiful family.
