Well Grandpa its almost been a year without u. I hope u are resting peacefully.. maybe u are having some coffee with Bobby's (my boyfriend) Grandma Lee who passed this time a couple years ago. If u run into Amy tell her she is missed too k.  Its sad when people pass but strange enough I feel u with me more now then when u was here. Remember I love and miss u dearly. It's monday Sept the 8th got up thinking about you as I always do. Im just now learning how to do this on the computer. I wanted to talk to you on my bithday but didn't no how to get on this site. mom, maggie & kennie came down to see me & rick. While they were here maggie showed me how to do this. now I can talk to you all the time. getting back to my birthday. Dad I just wanted to thank you for bringing me into this world with help from from god # 1 and mom. theres not a day that goes bye that I don't think of you. I love you more than words could ever say.Dad I just want for you to know that you don't have to worry about mom. she is ok and doing great. I was so happy that she, kennie & maggie came to see me. we had a great visit. wish that you could have been here to. I had a few cups of coffee for you lol. Dad I am so sorry that I didn't get to come down and spend a week with you after I retired. But I made it. Im retired now and loveing it. mom planted your yearly tomatoes. She told me that you flew over your tomatoe plants and smiled. that made us both happy. Dad you will have to excuse my spelling never been real good at it. Well I just wanted for you to no that Im thinking about you and miss you like crazy. may you  Rest in peace. you are no longer in pain.Don't worry about all of us we are all ok. This past weekend I traveled to California to see you one last time and lay you to rest. The drive was long, yet refreshing. Everywhere I looked, I seen beautiful scenery and skies.   I just want to say how relieved I was to see you resting peacefully. I know your in heaven with the angels and your mom. I hope you like my poem I read today I felt you there as the chills went through my body, I feel I at least owed that to you. I will miss you and im sorry that I didn't call much or keep in touch. There are so many things I could say that I wish we could have done better or ways we could have prepared for a happier ending, but all is life which makes it precious & beautiful. 

Although we weren't perfect, your life is beautiful. There are so many reasons that I will never forget you. 

First, people always love to tell the story (and I'll never forget it). The first time you babysat me, I was a complete brat. I screamed, I cried, I was a nightmare momma's boy. You said you'd never watch me alone again. Nothing personal, I just loved my mom. 

On to my second point, without you my mom wouldn't be possible. Neither would either of my beautiful sisters so without taking up too much space, I'll just say thank you. 

Third (and this might be silly), but when I think of you I'll always think of birds. Even though they were not my thing, I always found joy in seeing how happy they made you (and the rest of the family). 

Lastly, my name. As you know, my middle name "Wayne" is in honor of you. I'll be proud & humbled to always know that. 

In closing, thank you for the amazing women in my life. I couldn't & wouldn't be here without all of you. I'll make your name proud, I promise. May you fly like a bird & be free now.
