Leland Gerald Price

He grew up in Fresno, Ca. graduated from Central Union High School; he got his AA at Fresno City College. He served two years in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War; worked for Security Pacific Bank and United California Bank as a loan officer; and then at Town and Country Finance and Thrift in Visalia, Ca. as the Branch Manager. He later became a Realtor and owned and operated A-1 Property Management.

He died on Friday, January 7, 2011, at the age of 64, after a long illness.

Lee's parents lived on Monroe Ave. where they raised grapes. He lived there until he married his wife, Kathy whom he met at Fresno City College in 1966. He enjoyed many things during his life. He was active in the Jaycees, Indian Guides with the kids, the Elks, and the Senior Gleaners to name a few. He was a devoted family man. He came from a large, close family with many family gatherings. As a father and husband he took the family on many outings. His favorite places were Santa Cruz, Pismo Beach and Bass Lake...he liked the water. He also enjoyed RVing for many years, traveling from Canada to Mexico. He also enjoyed his ski boat, being an excellent water-skier from a young age and teaching both of his children to ski...Kathy drove the boat. We have many fond memories and he will be in our hearts and minds forever.

Lee was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Hanna Price; and his older brother, Melvin Price.

He is survived by Kathy Price of Visalia, Ca his wife of 40 years; their son, David Price and his wife Christie of Folsom, Ca, their dau- ghter, Sandra Kempf, and her husband Brian; and their three children Elliot, Aiden, and Hannah of Visalia, Ca; and his nephew, Craig Price, and his wife Maureen and their two children Gabriel and Clarissa of Elk Grove, Ca.

A Funeral Service will be held at Stephens and Bean Chapel on Monday, January 17, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. Following the Service, he will be interred at Belmont Memorial Park. A Memorial Luncheon will follow.
