Lena Belluomini

Lena was a devoted wife, mother, Noni (grandmother), sister, and friend who enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grand children, great-grand children and great-great grandchildren. Lena was born in Fresno, Ca. on October 18, 1918, and resided in Kerman, in her home nestled between the vineyards she so loved, until her passing on Tuesday, March 6, 2012. She was married to the love of her life, Victor Belluomini, who preceded her in death 16 years ago. They had two children, Ron Belluomini and Janet Capra. Her passion was her family. She took great pride in them and was always there with a warm hug, smile and her love. She is survived by her sister, Florence Thompson; her children and their spouses, Joy Belluomini and Fred Capra; their children and Lena's grandchildren, Stan Capra, Carla Capra and her fiancée, David Anderson, Jeff and Deng Capra, and Rena and Jeff Failla; her great-grandchildren, Katherine and Michael Fernandes, Rachael Failla and her fiancée, James McCarty, Brandon Capra, Bryan Edmonston, Donovan and Colton Failla, and Ryan Le; and her great-great-granddaughter, Gianna McCarty. Recitation of the Holy Rosary and Funeral Service will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Kerman, Ca. on Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at 10:45 a.m. Burial following at Fresno Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to Hinds Hospice, 1616 West Shaw Avenue, Fresno, Ca. 93711.
