She graduated from Reedley High School in 1943. In that same year she married Don Elder, who as serving in the United States Navy. She loved recounting the adventures they had as she followed him to his naval assignments during World War II.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Don; and four brothers, Jim, Home, William and Claude.
Lillian is survived by her children, Charlene Glass, Ron and Marsha Elder, and Ken and Marion Elder, all of Fresno. She leaves seven grandchildren and their spouses; and nine great-grandchildren.
She is laid to rest at Smith Mountain Cemetery in Sultana, CA. A Celebration of her life is planned for family members.
