Louis Howard Drescher

Louis Howard Drescher, aged 84, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2024, in Fresno, California. He was born on October 10, 1939, in Salisbury, Maryland, to Everette Franklin Drescher and Helen Mary Charowhes. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Baldwin Drescher, mother to his daughter Jamie.

He was a proud resident of Coarsegold, California. He married Julia Parks on November 12, 1999, in Palm Springs. He worked as an Operations Coordinator with Chevron Corporation for 40 years, displaying wonderful management skills.

Lou was very generous, outgoing, and always enthusiastic about his girls and their lives. He loved new adventures, Westerns, and his dogs. His family and telling stories were his two biggest passions. Lou always had the ability to make anyone smile. His absence leaves a hole in all our lives as he was bigger than life. He loved unconditionally and opened his heart to a whole new family treating them as his own.

He is survived by his daughter Jamie Johnson and son in law Aaron, wife Julia, his 6 bonus daughters, 4 son in laws, and many grandchildren including Marisa and Abigail Johnson. The family will be having a private memorial at his home that he loved on Saturday, February 24, 2024 to reminisce and honor the life of Lou (Pops).
