Manuel Michael "Mickey" Rose

February 5, 1936June 2, 2013

"Mickey" was a loving Husband Father and Grandfather. He was born in Visalia, Ca., on February 5, 1936 and passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2013.

He worked as a barber for 60 years in Kerman, Ca. operating Mickey's Barber Shop. Farmers and businessmen would come from miles away to get a haircut and listen to the latest jokes. He was an active member of the Kerman Chamber of Commerce.

"Grandpa Mickey" loved attending one grandson's soccer games, two of his grandson's baseball games, his granddaughter's softball games and his other two grandson's Micro Sprint and Sprint Car races. We could always count on Grandpa Mickey being the number one fan!

You are Forever in our Hearts! We Love You!

Mickey is preceded in death by his grandson, John D. Triantis.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, which he dated since fourth grade, Marjorie Rose; along with his four children, Kim Triantis and her husband Jim, Susan Evenett and her husband Ben, Mark Rose and his fiancé Rebecca Pendleton, and Julianne Scelzi and her husband Gary; his five grandchildren Roger, Shelby, and Tyler Schroeder, Dominic and Giovanni Scelzi.

Mickey was a main part of my families lives cutting hair and keeping up with the latest family gatherings and where everyone is now. He went to school with my Daddy, Frank "Frankie" Couto, and played a mean basketball with Mickey.
To the family who I have known all my life, I pray for your peace of mind and are very happy your grandchildren had a chance to be a part of their life.
God Bless you all.
