Marcia Marie Lombardo

She was raised by her loving mother and father, Bill and Marie Lombardo. Marcia was a long term caretaker of her mother and always put others ahead of herself.

Marcia was taught that faith, hard work and family were the centerpieces of life. She worked at the family grocery store and laundry mat that her mom envisioned, built and then managed for many years. From that point, Marcia along with her mom and dad started the famous, Lombardo's Lakeview Resort where she worked alongside her family. She ventured out of the family business and then went to work for human resources in the Welfare Department for 28 years holding many important positions. She ended her career as a Fair Hearing Judge.

Words cannot summarize what a wonderful, thoughtful loving person Marcia was. We will miss her dearly.

She is survived by her partner in life, Ralph Mazzela; and their family, Jack, Joey, Tim, Tami and Rory Mazzela. She is also survived by her step-brother, Carl Lombardo; half-brother, Toni Lombardo; step-sister, Teresa Dorell; and numerous nieces and nephews. Marcia was blessed with many close life long friends to name a few, Geri Johnson, who was her chosen sister, Mary Helen De La Torre and Ralph Mazzela, that shared her life and helped her throughout her battle with cancer. Audrey Kuyumjian was also a lifelong friend.

Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Monday, October 26, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. followed by Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, on the corner of Bullard and Maroa, on Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Sanger Cemetery at 568 S. Rainbow Ave., Sanger, CA 93657.
