Marguerite graduated from Bellingham High School in 1939 in Bellingham, Wa and came to Fresno, Ca by invitation of her Aunt Rose Genuso due to health issues. After graduating from business school she worked for different government agencies. Marguerite met and married Lloyd E. "Whitie" Van Sickle from Salpulpa, Ok in 1946. They were married 43 years residing in Fresno, Ca. After seventeen years of raising three sons, Marguerite updated her office skills to return to the working field. She was employed in private, state and county offices. Marguerite lived in her family home surrounded by longtime neighbors and friends who shared their mutual interest in gardening and social events. Marguerite was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd; and her grandson, Dustin Van Sickle. She is survived by three sons, David Van Sickle, Robert Van Sickle and Steven Van Sickle; four grandchildren, Shawn Van Sickle, Nicole Lange, Nicholas Van Sickle, and Tiffany Van Sickle; eight great-grandchildren; and her sister Mary Boyvin of Bakersfield, Ca.
