Maria Salud Banda -Wash of Fresno,Ca passed away peacefully on April 13,2026 at the age of 65 years. She was born on October 22,1961 to David and Ana Banda in Puruándiro Michoacán . After graduating from high school, She married Thomas Wash in 1986 and together they shared 25 wonderful years. Maria enjoyed traveling to Mexico to collect sago plants and making memories on Roadtrips. Maria and Tom founded Sago Rey their Legacy , an established nursery known in the Central Valley for more than 40 years, She was a wonderful woman full of knowledge and advice for plants and palms. Maria Banda always lent a helping hand to whom ever needed one. She is survived by her Sons Juan and Martin Wash , daughter in Law Gaby , her 4 Grandchildren Jaden,Tommy,Lety and her grandbaby Gavyn and her mother Anita . Service will be held at Funeraria del Angel on May 15 2026 from 4 pm . Maria loved the Color purple and in Honor of her memory please wear a splash of purple or purple ribbon
