Maria del Carmen Cortez is survived by her mother, Angelina Cabrera; sisters, Irene Medina, Angelica Garcia, Norma Ibarra, Sonia Cortez, and Veronica Cortez; and brother, Christopher Garcia. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Apoloino Cabrera; grandmother, Maria Cabrera; and father, Andres Cortez.
A Rosary Service will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 4636 W. Dakota Ave, Fresno, CA 93722, on July 2, 2026, at 9:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 am. Maria Del Carmen will be laid to rest at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery.
