Maria Irma Rendon

Maria Irma Rendon, 85, passed away on July 17, 2026. Born on February 25, 1941, Maria Irma Rendon will be remembered as a beloved and cherished presence—selfless in spirit, kind-hearted in word and deed, and gentle in the way she cared for those around her. Her compassionate nature and devoted love were felt most deeply at home, where she dedicated herself as a homemaker and made daily life warmer through steadfast attention and quiet strength.

Maria is survived by her daughter, Vanessa Rendon Flores (Ivan); her granddaughter, Emily Flores; her brother, Arnold Rendon; and her sister, Viola Peacock.

Maria was preceded in death by her father, George Rendon Sr.; her mother, Amelia Rendon; her sisters, Juanita Metzger and Ofelia Lozano; her brother, George Rendon Jr. ; and her sister-in-law, Yolanda Rendon.

Visitation will be held at Palm La Paz Funerals & Cremations, Calaveras Chapel at 1605 L St, Fresno, CA 93721, on August 4, 2026, at 5:00 pm, followed by a Recitation of the Rosary at 6:00 pm.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 4636 W. Dakota Ave, Fresno, CA 93722, on August 5, 2026, at 12:30 pm. Interment will follow at Fresno Memorial Gardens, 175 S. Cornelia Ave, Fresno, CA 93706.

Pallbearers will be Ivan Flores, Arthur Salvador Escarsega Sr., Arthur Salvador Escarsega Jr., Mario Angel Dominguez Jr., Austin Matthew Olvera, and Rene Ramirez.
