Marian Shaw Morris

A pioneer of community activism, human rights, and education. Fresno State Alumni Golden Grad. Twenty plus years teaching with Fresno Unified, PEO sister, respected Elder, choir member, major contributor to Christian Education and ministries at First Congregational Church of Fresno. She loved to swim, hike in the mountains and at coast, world traveler and gracious hostess to all.

In gratitude to Somerford Place, Fresno St. Agnes Hospice, and all prayers for comfort during her recent illness.

Marian is survived by sister, Norma Keck; children, Janet Capella, Bruce R. Morris, Randy F. Morris; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Private Graveside Service will be held at Belmont Memorial Park.

A Memorial Service will be held at First Congregational Church, 2131 N. Van Ness Blvd., Fresno, 93704, on Friday, January 6, 2012, at 1:30 p.m.
