Marie is survived by 27 nieces and nephews, and many great and great-great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Gail Highet, her nephew Eddie Baptista, and all of her brothers and sisters and their spouses; Hazel Baptista, Joe and Betty Baptista, Greta and Lee Cardoso, Margaret and Manuel Garcia, Henry and Ruth Baptista, Bill and Evelyn Baptista, Harold and Arzella Baptista, Domingues and Louise Baptista, and George and Geneva Baptista.
A visitation will be held at Stephens and Bean Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, August 25th, 2026, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. A recitation of the Holy Rosary will also be held at Stephens and Bean Chapel on Tuesday, August 25th, 2026, starting at 6:00 pm.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church on Wednesday, August 26th, 2026, starting at 10:00 am, with an interment at Belmont Memorial Park immediately following service.
