Marie Louise Soltes, 93, was born on September 12, 1921, in San Francisco, CA to Marie and Sidney Clarke, and passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 in Fresno, CA.
Marie was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, John George Soltes, her daughter, Mickie Seigfried, her parents and her sister.
She is survived by her children: son John Mark Soltes and wife Dee Dee Sellai-Soltes of San Leandro, CA; daughter Diana Marie Sellai and husband Don Sellai of Madera, CA; daughter Debra Ann Soltes of Fresno, CA; daughter Donna Louise Soltes of Fresno, CA, and son-in-law Tom Seigfried of Ashland, OR. Marie was blessed with 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at Whitehurst Sullivan Burns & Blair Funeral Home, 1525 East Saginaw, Fresno, CA, on Friday, March 6, 2015, at 7:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church, 4636 W. Dakota Ave, Fresno, CA, on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be immediately following the Mass at St. Peter’s Cemetery, 264 N. Blythe Avenue, Fresno, CA.
The family requests remembrances be made to Hinds Hospice or Nazareth House.
