

Marilyn was born to Phyllip and Millie Schafer on August 6, 1932. She entered into eternal rest on October 4, 2014. Marilyn spent the majority of her life living in Kerman, CA where she met and married the love of her life, Tony J. Botelho, on November 4, 1950.
Over the next 64 years, she worked alongside her husband on their ranch and raised three children. She worked for Rexall Drug in Kerman for 18 years. She was very active at Saint Patricks' Catholic Church in Kerman, and the U.P.P.E.C Society, which she was state Supreme President in 1995. She served on the committee for the Portuguese Celebrations for many years.
Marilyn loved her family and friends and never let anything get her down. She was the best wife, mother, and grandmother and is greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Rita K. Toste; and son-in-law, David R. Pombo.
Marilyn is survived by her husband, Tony J. Botelho; her sons, Mike (Judy) Botelho, and Jim Botelho; her daughter, Deborah Pombo; her seven grandchildren; her 12 great-grandchildren; and her brother, LeRoy (Janice) Schafer.

A Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at St. Patricks' Catholic Church in Kerman, CA on Tuesday, October 14, 2014, at 7:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will he held at the Church on Wednesday, October 15, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
