

Marilyn passed away at "A Place Called Home" in Clovis, CA on May 27, 2025.
Marilyn's first marriage was to Jerry Meinecke in 1964. His hobby was racing cars, and Marilyn was part of his pit team and drove his race car in several '’powder puff’ races. They were also members of the Corvette Club with their white 1963 split-window Corvette. Jerry is the father of Marilyn's daughter, Cheryl Blackburn.
Marilyn began her work career at Fresno County Employees Credit Union, before starting a job at Security Pacific National Bank, where she also volunteered with Securiteam, acquiring several awards for her time contributed to the community.
In 1990, Marilyn met Allyn Goodall, her perfect match, after rejoining the Corvette Club, due to purchasing a red 1963 split-window Corvette with her brother, Tim. Allyn had a white 1966 Corvette. They married in 1991. Upon retiring from Security Pacific National Bank, Marilyn became the office manager for Goodall Trucking until the company was sold in 2005. Upon their retirement, she and Allyn enjoyed several Corvette Club runs, meets and trips. During this time, Marilyn also joined the La Comida Guild, which benefits Valley Children’s Hospital.
After leaving the Corvette Club, Marilyn and Allyn enjoyed traveling together, going to Italy, Hawaii and taking several cruises .
Marilyn enjoyed several hobbies, including collecting and repurposing junk jewelry, and going to estate sales, auctions and thrift stores. She was always finding something to remodel or renovate in their home in Nipomo. She could turn something ordinary into something extraordinary.
Marilyn was loved by everyone whose lives she touched. She truly made a difference in her time here on earth. Marilyn is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Blackburn and son-in-law Kevin of Madera, CA, her husband, Allyn Goodall of Nipomo, CA, and her stepchildren Lisa and Mark. Marilyn is also survived by her brothers, Tim and Anthony Solipasso of Fresno, CA and Steve Solipasso and his wife, Linda, of Los Osos, CA.
Shortly after her stroke, she and Allyn had their 34th wedding anniversary on February 16th, 2025.
Marilyn's entire family wants to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers, cards and flowers. They mean a lot to us and we appreciate all of your love and support during this difficult time.
A visitation for Marilyn will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Whitehurst Sullivan Burns & Blair Funeral Home, 836 E. Nees Ave., Fresno, CA 93720, followed by a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 PM. A Graveside Service to honor Marilyn will take place on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at 10:00 at Clovis Cemetery District, 305 N Villa Ave, Clovis, CA 93612.
