Marilyn Joyce Temple

Marilyn J. Temple was born on September 19, 1942, in Fresno to Rose and David Graham and passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2021. Marilyn graduated from Fresno High School and attended Fresno State College. She worked at the Internal Revenue Service for 30 years, ending her career as a Tax Payer Advocate. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. Marilyn enjoyed reading romantic thriller novels by Sidney Sheldon and Fern Michaels, traveling with her husband, and spending time with her dogs. Marilyn was preceded in death by her mother, Rose Graham; brother, Gene Graham; and sister, Betty Graham. She is survived by her sister, Jeanette Stretch; husband, Lawrence Temple; children, Mark Temple and Michele Temple-Wong; and grandchildren, Anthony and Ethan Wong.

Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns, & Blair Funeral Home on November 22, 2021 from 4:00 to 6:00pm with a Rosary at 7:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on November 23, 2021 at 10:00am.

Interment will follow at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery with reception to follow.
