I have been a friend of Marjorie since 1936 when the family lived at knowles i knew Lottie KEE KEE and Charlie,I will miss her as I used to call her often,she was a special person,she was at the last school reunion that was held at the church in Raymond.I know she is in Heavon.Ken Wood

To my cousins, I am sending you my deepest sympathy. I just found out from Aunt Madeline in Oregon today of Aunt Margie's passing. I have thought of her often and remember her visits to Stockton to see my Mom, Connie or Kee Kee, as she always called her. They are together now with Aunt Lottie, Uncle Charlie and Aunt Millie. Grateful to have Aunt Margie in my life.

I wanted to thank all of you who have written kind words and those of you who attended the funeral, it meant so much to us all that you came to say goodbye with us.  I feel like I know so many of you from all of the stories my Grandma would tell me, it was nice to put faces to the names.

I also wanted to thank those of you that have been there for her over the years, especially in the last several years. You all did so much for her and made her life so much better than it would have been without you. 

I wish I could have gotten up and spoken and shared my feelings with all of you the day of the funeral but found myself unable to do so.

Some of you know that I am one of Ken's son's or as grandma liked to call him once in a while “Kenny”. I am so grateful for the unconditional love my grandmother gave to me and for raising such a strong and wonderful son like my father. Some of you may know that I am not a Heinrich by blood; however I am in spirit and chose to take the Heinrich name as my own when I was a young boy and still proudly bear the Heinrich name today.

At the age of four my mother met my father and they fell in love and we became a family, Dad was so good to us. He is a wonderful father and friend; you may ask what has made him such a great father. Well, there are many reasons. I would say one reason is he is just a great person, however I am sure it's due in part to how he was raised. 
Shortly after we became a family we met Grandma and Grandpa Heinrich and they accepted us with open arms and with such great love and affection. They always treated us as their own grandchildren and were so wonderful. When we would visit Grandma I hardly left her side, especially when she was making wonderful treats in the kitchen….I'm sure I figured I would get to sample some as she baked. The love Grandma shared with us through food… well I know any of you that knew her understand what I am trying to say. 
Grandma loved to tease me on the Holiday's when I was a little boy and would ask me if I had room for desert. I would reply very adamantly that “I do, I do Grandma!”  And would proceed to show her that I did by poking fingers into my belly to prove I had room, we both would just smile and laugh. 

Due to my love of food I have always enjoyed being a large man.  Grandma was always sure to speak her mind and share her concern for me by talking to me about eating healthier. However she still would give me deserts or brittle when I would visit or on the holidays. She would just make sure to say “now don't eat it all at once honey”. She was so good to me.

The day of the funeral my brother Sean and my cousin Brian and I were sharing stories of some of our favorite moments with grandma. One thing became very clear to me as we spoke of her. She had taken care of so many people in so many ways all of her life. I remember as a young man going with her to help Uncle Hugh and later her dear friend Chub, she always cared for people the same way if they were friends or family. I learned so much from her about helping others, doing service.. She was such a great human being.

Grandma I miss and love you so very much…

Kenny our Marge has gone to heaven. She was a precious lady always ready to lend a helping hand. Ready to listen to our problems and ready to bake anything we liked. There was very little the our Marge couldn't do for us. Growing up we saw there ready to give us an encouraging word she nurtured us kids with the wisdom that only she could give.  We kept in touch me calling every week to see how she was doing and I was blessed to be able to go to Fresno and see just before Christmas one more time.  With all my heart I will miss her and my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.  Love you Margaret Perez

Marge & my mom Gladys Berecochea met in the maternity ward in 1943 when they both delivered sons, her son Teddy & my brother Michael. Marge & my mom remained dear friends until my moms early death 20 years later.She would visit my mom during her long bout with cancer & because my mom had no appetite Marge would fix special meals for her. We are so grateful for all she did for our mom.

Even in your sadness we hope you will hold on to the thought that a life lived with so much love never really ends, but goes on forever in the hearts of those who remember.
