Marjorie "Marge" Trovato

Marge grew up on Fresno's West Side and graduated from Edison High School, where she met Anthony Trovato, whom she married on March 15, 1944. After the end of World War II, Marge worked in the offices of Bud & Quinn in Fresno before settling down to begin making a home and raising a family. She was married to Anthony for almost 54 years until his passing in 1998. Marge was a member of the Althea Club, a local community service club founded and maintained with her closest friends from Edison High School. She was also a member of the Fig Garden Golf Women's Club, where she was a regular player.

Her dear husband, parents and oldest brother, Larry Horg, preceded Marge in death.

Marge is survived by her sons, Tim Trovato and wife, Jennifer, Terry Trovato and wife Leigh; grandchildren, Tammi Noe and husband, Jeff, Joe Trovato and wife Kim, Anthony Trovato and Gina Trovato; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Noe, Samantha Noe, Abby Trovato, and Tate Trovato; sisters-in-law, Claudia Horg and Isabel Griffiths; and by her brother Harold Horg and wife, Laverne.

In lieu of flowers and to recognize her as a cancer survivor, remembrances may be sent to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718, or to the donor's favorite charity.

A Memorial Service will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 11:00 am.
