Mark L. Golden

In 1955, he and Benita Ruby were married in Fresno. Mark was a graduate of Fresno State University Criminology Dept and was retired from the Fresno County Sheriff's Dept. As a member of The Shrine of St. Therese Catholic Church, Mark was an Altar Server, Reader and assisted at Funeral Masses. A veteran of the Korean War, he was also a member of the American Legion.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Antonia Vermal and father Carter Christian Golden, son Eric in 1985 and wife Benita in 2008.

Mark is survived by his daughter, Devon Golden Jung and her husband, Harry; son Mark Golden and companion, Dennis Blickenstaff; granddaughter Regan Jung and sister Deanna Dupe.

Visitation will be held at the Lisle Funeral Home on Sunday and Monday, 11:00 am to 4:00 pm

A rosary will be held at Shrine of St. Therese Church on Monday, April 18, 2011 at 7:00pm.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at 10:00am at Shrine of St. Therese. Following the burial at Fresno Memorial Gardens, there will be a reception at St. Therese Parish Hall.
