

He was born on September 26, 1958, at an American army base in Stuttgart, Germany, to Kenneth and Jessie Lane, and grew up in Caruthers, CA.
He graduated from Caruthers High School in 1976, where he participated in wrestling, football, and marching band. After graduating, he attended Reedley College, where he studied agricultural science.
Mark worked as a ranch manager for Kenny's Crop Dusting, was a mobile disc jockey for his own company, Jukebox Productions, co-owned a radio station, worked in advertising, and in the past few years, was a software entrepreneur.
Mark was a dreamer. He had a joy for life and creativity, and he always carried a song in his heart. He was an incredible drummer, a song writer, and a humorist. He loved Fresno State football, the San Francisco Giants, the San Francisco 49ers, and was known for his great sense of humor, his practical jokes, and his love for family and friends.
Mark always knew how to make people laugh. He never met strangers only friends.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Jessie Lane.
Mark is survived by his daughter, Brittney Lane, and her fiancé, Mark Kubisch; his son, Brandon Lane; his sister, Analisa Lane; his nephews, Ryan and Eric England; and his step-father, James Ashley.
A Funeral Service will be held at Peoples Church, in the G.L. Johnson Chapel, on Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Chil- dren's Research Hospital; or to the donor's favorite charity.
