God wanted another one of His angels, so our blessed Mark was peacefully called to the Lord Sunday morning, Mother's Day. Mark's Birthday often fell on Mother's Day. His mom often said he was her Mother's Day gift. This year mother and son were finally united again. Mark's smile outshined the sun. He had a tremendous loving heart and soul. He was a cherished grandson, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. His love and devotion to family and friends, was only second to his deep love and devotion to God. There was nothing he loved more than coming home after church on Sunday and having a huge Italian dinner with family. He especially loved raviolis.
When Mark and his brother Chris weren't working, they loved playing music together. Mark played the electric guitar, and Chris played the drums. Later in life Mark picked up the acoustic guitar.
We're surely blessed to have Mark in our lives. We will miss him immensely. God will bless him and keep him until we are together again.
He is survived by brother Greg Nannini, sisters Pamela Robertson, Ivy Nannini, and Yvonne Nannini. Mark is also survived by niece Rosanna Robertson, nephews Matthew and Jeff Hei, and great niece Breanna Smith. Also surviving, are many dear cousins and friends.
A rosary for Mark will be held May 24th, at 6 pm at Lisle Funeral Home. Mass will occur Thursday May 25th at 10 am, at the Shrine of St. Therese Catholic Church. He will then be laid to rest in St. Peter's Cemetery.
