Martin was born in Mexico to Maria de Jesus Naranjo and Lucas Hernandez on October 24, 1950. He passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2014 in Fresno at the age of 63. Martin was a technician for Comcast Cable for 20 years. He enjoyed family gatherings and barbeques with his grandchildren and family. He was an avid Oakland Raiders fan and enjoyed watching sports. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Irene Munoz Hernandez; his sons, Greg and Richard Hernandez; his grandchildren, Brittany and Derek, two great grandchildren Isabella and Kali; brothers, Franco, Jose and Primo; and his sister Guadalupe. He is also survived by many members of the Munoz family.
Visitation will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Monday, June 2, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. and followed by a Vigil with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Saint John's Cathedral on Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at 9:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Saint Peters Cemetery.
