Martin married Doris Scribner in 1942 and together they raised three children. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, a living example of his Christian faith. His wife, Doris, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his children, Stan Nelsen, of Flower Mound, Texas, Cathy Blanchfield of Fresno and Patti Nelsen, also of Fresno, eight grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
