Mary Roy Bovenizer was born on June 10, 1918 in Paisley Scotland and at the age of 100, passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 in Clovis, California. She was born to the late Jessie Logan and William Roy.
In Mary's early childhood, she grew up in Renfrew County Scotland and at the age of 10 she and her family immigrated to the United States. Mary excelled in school and was valedictorian of her high school class.
Family was Mary's passion in life. She always enjoyed the family vacations to Cape Cod, Virginia
Beach, and the Jersey Shore but could not wait to come home. She loved being at home, being a mom, and spending quality time with her family. Her husband and children always came first. Being a mother and wife were her proudest moments. She recently celebrated her 100th birthday surrounded by her family. She truly enjoyed her party.
Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, George W. Bovenizer Jr. and her brother, James Roy.

Bovenizer III of Jupiter, Florida, Bruce Bovenizer of Del Mar, CA, and Barbara Pierpont of Clovis; seven grandchildren, David Bovenizer, Mark Bovenizer, Beth Stinelli, Brian Bovenizer, Rick Bovenizer, Kristin Haydock and Ryan Pierpont; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
