Mary Etta Chambers was born on June 20, 1924 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to Mr. William Chambers and Elizabeth. Preceded in death by her parents, Father William Chambers and Mother Elizabeth and all her brothers and sisters, total of nine also one grandchild Isaac Jackson Jr., three sons Arthur and Lionel Cooper and Jerry Dixon. At the age 18 years old she committed her life to God, which consist of born again baptism fill holy spirit. Jeremiah Dixon and Mary E. Cooper married for 10 years. Later she remarry Donald Cooper for 15 years. She kept her commitment to serve God, while raising seven children. Singing in church choir, playing piano. Also was a prayer warrior and gifted woman of God. She was a homemaker, cook and many other qualities of her life. She graduated from Okmulgee High School and move to Fresno, California where she attended Federico Beauty College Graduated as a beautician, at 41 years old, she changed her career went back to City College to receive credentials to teach as a pre-school teacher. She taught for 15 years retiring from Fresno Unified School District. Also owned several homes. She was a lovely person that taught her children about God and Life, well dress and help others even to give a place for them to live.

She leaves behind her children, one son; William Dixon, three girls; Jacquietta (Isaac) Jackson, Zearlean Cooper, Lanora Cooper and Grandchildrens, Great, Great Great Children total of 48 and host of family and friends.
A visitation for Mary will be held Thursday, December 5, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Lisle Funeral Home. Funeral Service will occur Friday, December 6, 2024 at 11:00 am at Bethesda Apostolic Church, 3723 E. Dakota Ave, Fresno, CA 93726. Interment Fresno Memorial Gardens, 175 S. Cornelia Ave, Fresno, CA 93706.
