Mary Elvira (Vera) DeAlba of Fresno, California passed away on June 11, 2026 at the age of 74. Vera was born on November 29, 1951 in Coalinga, California to Julio and Graciela Lopez. She graduated from Roosevelt High School and lived her entire life in Fresno. She worked at Zacky Farms for 46 years as a quality control inspector.
She is survived by her daughter Annalivia Pina (Encarnacion), her siblings Ramona Lopez Maas (James), Manuel Lopez (Dolores), Patsy Lopez, Silvia Alvarado, Bertha Galindo, Julio Lopez (Hermila), Moises Lopez Solorio (Maria), Ramon Lopez, Steven Rodriguez (Rosie), and Rebecca Madrigal.
Mary also leaves five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Anthony DeAlba of Bakersfield, California, her sister Ruth Rodriguez, and her niece Andrea Angelic Chavira.
Vera will be remembered as a loving sister. She was known for her love of cooking and gardening. She enjoyed the simple things in life; sitting in the sun, listening to her favorite music (Bob Dylan) and in her younger years, fishing with her son.
Services will be held on July 10, 2026 at Lisle Funeral Home at 1605 L Street, Fresno, California 93721. Viewing will be from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Celebration of Life service at 11:00 am. Burial will immediately follow at Fresno Memorial Gardens at 175 S. Cornelia Ave, Fresno, California 93706.
