Mary Barbara E Fox

Barbara was born on February 23, 1932, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, to Moses and Rebecca Wagers. She moved to California in 1944, and graduated from Sanger High School in 1950. She married the love of her life, James L. Fox, on November 2, 1952. where they shared 58 wonderful years together. She always wanted to be a Registered Nurse, and her dreams finally came true in 1975, when she returned to college and began her new career. She retired in 1995, from St. Agnes Hospital where she worked in the Oncology department, caring for people, her gift from God.

Her husband Jim, of 58 years, her son Jack Fox and his wife Francine, her daughter Amber Fox and her companion Lewis Blaylock, grandchildren Tiffany Ivy, and Elizabeth Smith and her husband William, her sister Esther Holmes, and many nieces and nephews, survive her.

Remembrances may be sent to The Alzheimer Living Center at Elim, in Fresno where she was given respect and dignity during her stay. The family of Mary whish to thank the entire staff for their love and respect of our loved one.

There will be a celebration of her life on Friday, August 26, 2011 at Fresno Memorial Gardens, at 10:30 A.M.
