She was preceded in death by her husband, Nat Kawaguchi; parents, Eiichi and Sasayo Hamataka; sisters, Fumiyo Takao, Betty Mutow, and Daisy Hata.
Mary is survived by her two daughters, Sandy Uchida and her husband Grennie of Culver City and Patty Abe and her husband Stan of Fresno; sister, Mollie Itow of Penryn; beloved grandmother of Ginelle Sebastian and her husband Chris, Garrett Uchida, and Jonathan Abe; great- grandmother of Natalie, Chanelle, Kristal, and Jason Sebastian.
Visitation will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Friday, June 27, 2014, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
A Funeral Service will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Saturday, June 28, 2014, at 11:00 a.m.
