He, along with his family, was relocated to the Arkansas Relocation Camp from 1942 to 1945. After the war, his family farmed on Peach Ave. in Fresno. Masaji proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He met his wife, Kay while stationed at Fort Ord and they were married on July 2, 1955.
He worked for the City of Fresno starting in Parks and Recreation then retiring as an equipment operator from wastewater treatment after 23 years. He enjoyed weight lifting and bowling.
Masaji is survived by his wife, Kay; son Doug Teraoka and daughter Carol Teraoka; brother Henry Teraoka and sisters Toki Inouye and Mitsuko Nakamura.
Memorial Services will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Sunday November 8, 2015 at 2:00 pm.
