Max Donald Rosendahl, 30, passed away on May 11, 2020. Max was born in Fresno, CA on January 8, 1990. He graduated from Bullard High School and attended Fresno City College where he studied in Journalism which allowed him to write and edit for the“Rampage” Online News. Max also had worked at CVS, for many years at numerous locations, where he worked his way up to becoming shift manager.
Max had a close relationship with his younger brother, Andrew. When Andrew started playing soccer in elementary school Max had decided to become one of the soccer coaches on the same team Andrew played on so that Max could help mentor, hang out and spend time with his little brother.
Max also was very close and very involved in the caring for his grandparents where he enjoyed having conversation and spending time with both his Maternal & Paternal Grandparents.
Those who really knew Max, knew of his kind, loving and generous spirit, and in keeping with that Max chose as his final wish to donate his organs, which exemplifies his desire to give and help others.
Max is survived by his mother, Michelle Rosendahl, and brother Andrew Waller of Fresno, CA; brother Shaun Rosendahl of Laguna Beach, CA; Grandparents Donald & Florence Badertscher, and Grandmother Leona Rosendahl of Easton, CA; and Grandfather Don Rosendahl of Prather, CA.
Max is preceded in death by his father, Brian Rosendahl.
Max’s family wish to extend their sincere thanks to all of Max’s doctors, nurses, and attending staff at
Community Hospital's 10th Floor Neuro Unit. The hospital staff, and the Donor Network West team, provided Max with the utmost care and compassion.
Michelle and Andrew also extend their sincere thank you to those who have reached out with their kind words, sympathy, comfort, and compassion during this most difficult time.
Funeral and burial services are being held privately.
