Maxine was born in Fresno, Ca on March 2, 1921 and passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2011, in Clovis, Ca at the age of 89. A homemaker, Maxine resided for over 50 years at her Madera ranch home where she enjoyed baking, sewing, gardening, and canning. The most recent years, she resided at Orchard Park Assisted Living in Clovis. Maxine was a lifetime member of Grace United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John L. McFarlane; and daughter, Grace Ann Minnena. Maxine is survived by her sons, John of Madera, Wayne and his wife Neenah of Clovis; and grandsons John and Joseph of Clovis. Visitation will be held at Stephens & Bean Chapel on Monday, February 7, 2011, from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. A Graveside Service will be held at Belmont Memorial Park on Monday, February 7, 2011, at 1:30 p.m. Remembrances may be made to Grace Methodist Church, 3362 E.
