Mayker Lo was born on 07/06/1979 in Thailand's Refugee Camp during the Vietnam War. Mayker was the middle child of 7 children in the Lo Family, a mother, and a friend.. Mayker has 5 children, Andrew Xiong, Jocelynne Xiong, Preston Xiong, Bryan Xiong, Passion Xiong. Maykers unfortunate passing was on 09/16/2024 at the Clovis Community Center Hospital. Mayker found out she had breast cancer in the year 2018 and has been tough fighting through the first years of going through radiation and chemo. After a year and a half of treatment she was in remission. A great blessing to hear. But following around 2020 she had found out that her cancer was spreading to her bones. After going back to the doctors and getting back into treatment she was glad she didn't have to do radiation anymore, but was instead put back into chemo just to keep the cancer at bay. There was good news… her doctor said that is the cancer stays in the bones she can die of old age. With this great news, Mayker took this opportunity to enjoy life to the fullest, having family vacations, trips, hangouts, and being alive overall. Mayker loved to go hiking or walking whenever she had the chance to.
We thank the Whitehurst Funeral Home (Garrett Pinasco) for giving us the best and most professional care for the family with their great understandingness and willingness to help. Also thanks to Bishop Sia Lor for being the person that made sure we didn’t fall and would counsel the children of Mayker’s Children to help plan the funeral. Also thanks to the Lee Family (Jonathan Lee and Mai) for allowing the children a safe place to be during the chaos and also there counseling. Thanks to Phadan Lo for helping with the cemetery.
