He was a tax examiner and a middle school, high school, and junior college teacher.
Michael is survived by his wife, Susan, of 48 years; and children, Collette, Ross, Brian and Adam.
A Graveside Service will be held at Fresno Memorial Gardens on Friday, December 4, 2015, at 1:00 p.m.
A Memorial Service and reception will follow at Bernay's home.
