Michael was born in Fresno on August 28, 1959, and resided at the Porterville Devel- opmental Center for 49 years.
Michael's family would like to thank the past and current staff at Porterville Develop- mental Center for the many years of loving and devoted care they gave to him. A special thank you also goes to Michael's foster grandfather Mario.
He enjoyed bowling (competing in many tournaments over the years), watching baseball (he was an Oakland A's fan) and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Larry; and his great aunt, Mary Ann Ennis of Fresno.
He is survived by his mother Barbara; his sister, Jacqueline Evans and family; and his brother, Vincent Mendes and family.
