Two days shy of one year papa and I miss you so very much. I remember you when I pass by our old eating places and I remember you when we sing the old hymns at church. I smell your cologne and hair cream when I pass by your room. I will always keep you in my heart and remember I love you cinco.

Rest in Peace Tio, I know my mom and your other siblings were there to welcome you home.  I'm reminded about how much you cared for my mom and how you would randomly make the long drive from California to New Mexico to see us and how happy Mama would be to spend that time with you.  It especially touches my heart that your Granddaughter Frances has such beautiful memories of you greeting the Lord each morning because my mom would do the same thing.  It is a beautiful legacy that the Mendoza family has left for us.

Good Morning Lord, as my grandpa would say each morning as he awoke before his morning coffee, not a day goes bye I don't forget the moments we had before the Lord called you home, I cherish those and would do it again in a heartbeat, but you are in a better place and resting with the Lord, I love and miss you so much. Papa, oh how I miss you but I know you are with our Lord and enjoying your new body.  A lot of things remind me of you and it doesn't make it easy but I know one day we will see each other again. Pops remember that I love you more than Cinco.
