Marlene,Elaine and Shirley,
Please accept my sincere condolences on the great loss of your beautiful Mother.
Our whole family knew your Mom and Dad..my brother Richard was treated like family by your parents and he loved them like family.
Thank you for sharing your Mom with so many of us.

I used to see your mom so often at Vintage Gardens when my folks were there. Your mom once told Lu that she missed mom. She was alert and participating in all the activities.

Lovely pictures of a long life, full of memories of a great lady in the community. Mrs Tashima was a block neighbor at Jerome, Arkansas to  Naito family, and  trusted friend and resident at Vintage Gardens to my mother. She said she drove tractor in the early days, loved raising her 3 girls, being at the garage and mourned the loss of Allison and enjoyed her grands and great-grands. She will be missed by all. .

Dear Marlene, Elaine and Shirley:
  I was sorry to hear about your Mom's passing.  Your Mom was a very wonderful lady and I will always remember her bringing three or four of your father Frank's employees every Saturday to our warehouse to pick up beer trucks for repairs and servicing.  She always would stay to talk with my partner (Tom Diel) and me.  She did this for forty years or more!  After retirement, she would occasionally take a walk by my house and stop in for a chat.  My wife and I enjoyed that so much!

To my Dearest Elaine, and Marlene and Shirley. I shall always remember Mikiye for her sweet smile and gentleness.  She was a real Lady in every sense of the word.   She and I knew each other through you in Kindergarten and Girl Scouts, but later I loved her even more as herself.  She shall be missed by all who knew her.

Sorry, I never had the opportunity to meet her but, heard so many nice, wonderful things of her from Elaine she was a strong woman.

*** Wed. May 25, 2016 = Dear Marlene, Elaine and Shirley, I am so sorry of your mother's passing.  Marlene just told me last Wednesday that mom was so mentally sharp, so it was a shock that mom passed 3 days later.  No wonder I've been thinking about her lately, I remember on one of my sleep overs, she took us to the cemetery to put flowers on I think Bachan's plot and we all sat around the plot and had lunch.  What a sweet loving gesture to do, I never forgot that.  I admired her inner strength and strong will to be by her husband's side helping at the garage and bringing him dinner, she kept it so clean.  Her sewing skills was so professional, I remember seeing Marlene walk in at the church's Halloween party wearing a very professional nursing outfit, it was the only one of its kind at the party.  Marlene, you were always the best dressed girl at school thanks to your mother.  She has left a wonderful legacy for her beautiful family.  Your Mom and Dad and Allison along with Jichan and Bachan will be at the Memorial service on June 3rd.  I am sorry I will not be able to attend as I am not able to travel anymore, however, I always have my own service here at home at the same time a service is performed in Fresno.
