

Mousheg met his wife Nunufar Khalatian when he was 22 years old. At the time they remained friends until Nunufar turned 18 years old. Their love blossomed and they wed in 1981. In July 1982 they welcomed their first born, daughter Anush. Five years later they were blessed with twin boys Artashes & Vartan. That was the happiest day of his life, when he held his sons who would carry on his family name. In 1989 Mousheg moved his family to the United States of America to be close to his family who lived in Providence Rhode Island. After 1 year he moved his family to Los Angeles, Ca so they can live amongst the big Armenian community. In 1994 after the Northridge earthquake Mousheg moved his family and their sewing business to Fresno, Ca. He lived and worked in Fresno, Ca until his health allowed him to. He became a Papik in 2009 when his first grandchild Kasya was born. He welcomed grandchildren Michael, Vartan, Makayla and Malia back to back. He was a loving Papik to all of his grandchildren. He was at his happiest when he was surrounded by his children and grandchildren.
Mousheg went home to God on November 21st 2018 surrounded by his loved ones. Mousheg was true to his tough, strong demeanor and was able to say his final goodbyes to his family and loved ones with a smile on his face.
Mousheg is survived by his wife Nunufar. His daughter Anush & husband Mike & children Michael, Makayla, & Malia. His son Vartan. His Son Artash & wife Lilit & children Kasya & Vartan. His daughter from a previous relationship Armine & husband Artak & children Mousheg, Norir, & Meline. His nephew & honorary son Edgar & his wife Sophia & children Brayden, Jayde, Susanna & Edgar. His sister Gohar & her children Hasmik, Elize, Gevork & their families. His sister Tagui & husband Mikertich. He was also loved by many extended family members & friends.
