Nanette was born on July 25,1984 to James and Teresa Buchanan. She was the youngest sibling; the baby of the family, the "favorite," as she would happily refer to herself. She grew up in the communities of San Joaquin, Reedley and Kerman. She settled, for a brief time, in the community of NAS Lemoore before returning to Kerman permanently in 2007.
She married her loving husband, Michael Rowland, in April 2005. They had three children. Nanette was a proud Navy wife who respected her husband's hard work and achievements. She was also a dutiful, caring mother. Her children were the most important part of her life and they provided her with immense joy.
A close second to her children was Nanette's passion for farming. She worked on her family's farm in Cantua Creek, CA for many years, enjoying both administrative duties and outdoor work. The best part of working in Cantua was that it gave Nanette the opportunity to work side by side with her mother, Teresa. Nanette was fiercely proud of her family's farming tradition and proud to be part of the next generation.
Nanette is survived by her husband, Michael Rowland and their three children, Madison, Andrew and Maci; her mother, Teresa Buchanan; sisters, Christina Buchanan, Sherri Buchanan and Lynn Everett; along with her brothers, Josh Garnier, Christopher Cox and Ramon Garza. She also leaves behind her Grandfather, Buddy Rupe; her aunts, Tammy Hoffman and Tanya Weston; her uncle, Jan Weston; her cousins Joey Silva and his wife Rachel, and Molly and Katie Coleman; nephews, Tobias and Seth Buchanan, Kaleb and Hunter Garnier; nieces, Zoe Pappan and Sequoia Garnier; and her faithful dog, Duke. Many friends will also miss her.
