Naomi Wright, 65, passed away November 16th, 2018 in Fresno, CA. Naomi was born July 29th, 1953, to the late Francis J. Cauwels and Mary Pauline Cauwels, and she grew up in Kingsburg, CA with her siblings. She attended Kingsburg High School and Fresno State, and throughout her life worked at Duncan Ceramics, KKDJ 106 radio station, Volunteers in Parole, and as a legal transcriber and para-educator.
Naomi's true gift was that she was enamored with life, and all the small daily intricacies that make life beautiful. She was an accomplished artist and her love of the world shows in her vibrant and ethereal paintings. She was a lover of art, poetry, books, music, travel, food, different cultures, fireworks, and the occasional glass of wine. Her positivity, smile, and laughter were contagious. Naomi was a beautiful, brave, strong, independent soul who will be missed dearly and always remembered by her two surviving children, Alyson and Stephen, and her surviving siblings Pam, Joe, and John. She is predeceased by her parents and siblings Bobby, Tom, and Patti.
A Celebration of Life for Naomi will be planned for a later date.
