Thank you, Tia Nedy, for the many memories you have given me. As a child, I looked forward to the times I could spend at your house to play with my cousins, explore the neighborhood and get into whatever mischief I could dream up. Your home was always welcoming and felt like a vacation away from my own home. I even remember coming down with the measles and recuperating at your house, thanks to the care you and Grandma provided me.
For these memories and many more, I will be eternally grateful.

Nedy had a calmness about her...she listened with an open heart. She was a kind and giving person.
I will always remember Nedy drinking that cup of coffee at the kitchen table wirh my loving mother Tomasa but yet outspoken. What a great neighborhood we had! RIP Ms Nedy💜

Nedy was my dear friends mother and my neighbor. She always said yes when Elaine asked if I could spend the night and I did so many weekend and summer nights. Nedy continued to be one of our Birch street family for many years. Rest In Peace my friend. See you on the other side 🙏🏼♥️
