Nellie passes away on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at the age of 92. She was a retired farm laborer for all of her adult life. Nellie loved cooking for her family, crocheting and making hand-made quilts.
She is survived by her husband, Fernando of Kerman; children Lupe Martinez, Manuel Torrez, Lollie Aguerro, Santiago Torrez and Beatrice all of Mendota and Steve Torrez of Fresno; siblings Esperanza, Vera, Carmen, Socorra, Ramona, Connie, Delores, Bill, Johnny, Robert and Richard; 25 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren and 18 great-great grandchildren.
